2 years ago I had the craziest allergic reaction and had an acne breakout. Every single day was a struggle and so so painful to wash my face, put on moisturizer, find the right moisturizer or creams that didn’t inflame my acne. The laser treatments, acupuncture treatments, and acne facial treatments that went on for the longest time to help calm the hormones, get rid of the scars and pigmentation was torture. It was hard for me to leave the house or even take a photo because of how i looked, but ever since that allergic reaction and even after all those treatments, i could never truly get rid of the acne, and have somewhat accepted that having acne was normal and it’s something i have to deal with for another long time. As if women don’t already have enough problems. Some days I wake up with pimples all over my cheek, my forehead, my chin or my neck, and some days my skin is just about perfect, it really depends on the weather or what foods I intake I guess. #acneproblems
