@pearypie : “ผ้าไหมแพรวา” ราชินีแห่งไหม ชาวภูไทกาฬสินธุ์ แม่คำสอน สระทอง ศิลปินแห่งชาติ สาธิตการทอผ้าไหมแพรวาโดยการจกเกาะเกี่ยวลาย แม่เล่าให้ฟังว่า แต่เดิมผ้าไหมแพรวามาพร้อมกับวัฒนธรรมของชาวภูไท ชีวิตของแม่อยู่กับการทอผ้ามาโดยตลอด แต่ที่ดีใจและปลื้มที่สุดของชีวิตคือตอนที่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯพระบรมราชินีนาถ เสด็จเยี่ยมอำเภอคำม่วง ได้ทอดพระเนตรเห็นชาวภูไท บ้านโพน แต่งตัวโดยใช้ผ้าแพรวาห่มตามแบบสไบ ได้ทรงสนพระทัยมากจึงโปรดให้มีการสนับสนุน แม่คำสอนยังได้ให้คำมั่นสัญญาว่าแม่จะเป็นผู้สอน ผู้ถ่ายทอดวิชาความรู้เรื่องการทอผ้าไหมแพรวาให้ลูกหลานต่อไปอีกด้วย 🥰🇹🇭💖 Praewa silk is exclusively hand-woven by women of the PhuTai ethnic community, who live in Kalasin Province. The PhuTai migrated to Kalasin Province about 200 years ago from Vietnam. Originally, the PhuTai only wove Praewa silk for women’s shoulder scarves (the sabai).These textiles are usually worn during important occasions or religious ceremonies. It's one of the most complex weaves of Thai silk, Praewa is also known as Queen of Thai Silk. In 1977, Queen Sirikit visited Kalasin province where she first came across Praewa silk and from then she has been actively supporting the locals. ✨ #pearypiewearsthaifabric #Praewa #Kalasin
