@chunuonsee16 : It’s no secret that your natural immunity is crazy important- now more than ever. Personally, I hate taking medicine- for common colds, headaches, whatever- so to avoid taking scientifically manufactured chemical pills, I try to take care of myself as best I can. These days I’m doing the most to boost my immunity levels (vitamin C, immunity boosting foods & teas, you name it) & most recently I’ve added cryo-therapy❄️ to my list. If you don’t know what ❄️cryo-therapy is, it is exposing your body to sub-zero temperatures usually between -110 to -140 ☃️ which causes your blood vessels to constrict & pushes blood towards your most vital organs. This increased blood flow promotes efficient cell growth & function. What also happens is an increase in your white blood cell count which is so important for 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 since white blood cells are what help fight infections. At the same time, cryotherapy decreases inflammation which helps your muscles & your body heal more quickly- this is why pro athletes, like hubby, love cryotherapy. Mika’s been going for over a year now so he could tell you way more but personally I’m in it for the immunity boost PLUS 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 after AND 𝐢 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠. I should take a moment to tell you I am a cold wimp. I’m from California. I grew up spending holidays at the beach- California, Hawai’i, Bali, Thailand...𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 🥶 I shut down. Literally cold weather makes me want to curl up in a little ball & sleep so i was super skeptical about cryotherapy & my ability to last 2-3 minutes in -120degrees. The cryo chamber was incredible. I took deep breaths through the 3 minutes & just kept dancing & honestly it wasn’t until the last 20 seconds that I was really like 🥶 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐟 𝐢‘𝐦 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠. So if I can do it, so can you.
